You might want two people for the assembly part...I did it by myself but it took a little longer than if there were two to put it together. The wood is nice and sturdy, the only complaint I have is we took off the locks that the cage came with because they weren’t reliable. We just went to Home Depot and bought some little latches and attached them and that works much better! We also did want to use the wheels but that was just a preference thing!
