Cat Tree
How to Pick the Right Cat Tree Dimensions
Size
Cat trees come in a variety of sizes, so make sure you pick the right one for your environment. We keep the tree in a precise location in our living room. It is located behind the front door when it opens and near to two windows, giving the cats something to stare at all of the time.
Cats in Number
If you have more than one cat, you’ll want to make sure they can all use the tree at the same time. While we usually just have one cat in the tree, if we are spending the evening in the living room, all three cats are likely to want to be near us in the tree. That means your tree must have at least as many perches as you have cats.
Appearance
Because a cat tree is so large, you’ll want to make sure it fits in the room where you’ll be storing it. Pick a color that goes well with the rest of your decor. You might also want to choose a tree that matches the color of your cats’ fur so that it doesn’t look as unclean when the fur accumulates.
Is it possible to use the cat tree with several cats?
Yes! At any one time, two of my cats will be lounging on the tree. I might find my two female cats snuggling on the tree if I get up early enough in the morning.
