This catio was exactly what my cats needed. It was relatively easy to put together - but it did require two people and took several hours. It is easy to move around with two people so I can change the cat’s location to keep them happy. The cats would prefer to roam freely, but they have accepted that the catio is their only choice for outdoor time. They love it and they are much happier with the chance to watch the outdoor action up close.

2 things: 2 people make this easier, and find your missing 10mm wrench because you'll need it toward the end. I think it was supposed to come with one, but ours was missing. Also, if you have even a mild allergy to cedar, you will be overwhelmed by the smell when you open the box. It's STRONG.

Assembly was easy enough, well labeled and my husband and I didn't fight when we (mostly me) assembled it in just under 3 hours. Our toddler "helped" and the orange cat that wants to be outside screamed at us from the window the entire time.

If you want to use this in conjuction with a window, make sure you remove the wire from the piece in the middle on the back, but keep the frame as it is structurally necessary.
