In...MoreThis is my 13 year old kitty, we recently moved to a rental with these nice big windows but too high up and with little ledge for the cat to enjoy. Insert this window ledge. I wasn't sure If this is something she would like, 13 years together and she still surprises me, we put her favorite treats on top to get her on it and she hasnt wanted to come off since. She's not a skinny girl, she's 15lbs but she can sit pretty comfortable on top. We tested it with a 25lb weight before we let her on and it held up well.
Just a tip, if you're renting like us do be aware that you are asked to drill about a 2" screw into your window ledge. It will not be sturdy enough otherwise.
