The bottom looks flimsy and the shelves look like the cats may claw them up. The bottom, roof and shelves are the same material. I am planning on adding some feeding mats and a litter box and litter mat to limit the bottom being messed up. This is day one so I don’t know how easy it will be to clean. It seems like I can just walk in and vacuum and bring a small trash bin in to empty the litter box. For now it looks like it will be functional. I will update once our two cats have used it for a while. I recommend building with two people. I gave it a 3 because of how flimsy the shelves and bottom look and because building this was a hassle. Other than that it gives the cats plenty of room and they both love it. I just hope it lasts and they don’t ruin it.
