This sucked putting it together. It took a good 3 hours then I got burnt out and decided to finish it the next day. The bottom looks flimsy and the shelves look like the cats may claw them up. The bottom, roof and shelves are the same material. I am planning on adding some feeding mats and a litter box and litter mat to limit the bottom being messed up. This is day one so I don’t know how easy it will be to clean. It seems like I can just walk in and vacuum and bring a small trash bin in to empty the litter box. For now it looks like it will be functional. I will update once our two cats have used it for a while. I recommend building with two people. I gave it a 3 because of how flimsy the shelves and bottom look and because building this was a hassle. Other than that it gives the cats plenty of room and they both love it. I just hope it lasts and they don’t ruin it.

I have an inside cat that all of a sudden wanted to explore outside. With woods around us, I was to scared to let her wonder. So this catio was my solution. Instructions were easy. Just the right size. I placed in front of window and I just open it when Salem wants out. I would recommend using the staple and ties to every panel and inside on shelfs. I used the ladders to add to top corners to hang plants and such.

This cage is great I am very satisfied with this purchase i plan to expand this one by purchasing extra pieces I wish I could fit my hidden litter box and a medium cat tree inside...as of right now I can only fit a small uncovered litter box but my kittens are really only in there to go to bed at night....**UPDATE**I finally purchased a second cage(*extra pieces sold separately cost as much as the whole cage itself) i got it earlier today and this is my cage now I absolutely love it and my cats love it more
