Question isolation (pluie), je ne peux rien dire: il me restait du "shingle" et j'ai carrément recouvert la cabane avec , ce qui m'évite toute éventuelle infiltration..
Je recommande évidemment pour le prix, ayant "fabriqué" une cabane précédemment, celle-ci,est bien plus esthétique et facile à monter..
Il ne faudrait pas un trop grand chat par contre, ma chatte de 5.5 kg est bien "à plein" dedans, mais elle cela ne la dérange nullement..

I removed the door/ramp because they don't need them. They are so cute & match my house, they're solid wood & the price is great. I had to get more than one because they all wanted to sleep in the first one. My cats only tolerate each other, and these houses are too small for more than one cat, anyway, so they can't share them.
The 2nd cat house I ordered broke while assembling. There was a knot in one of the front legs & it snapped off. I contacted the manufacturer (Trixie) to request a replacement front panel, with pics of the broken leg. Without any questions, they responded quickly with apology & tracking # for the replacement. I was so surprised when an entire new cat house arrived!
I definitely recommend these. Very cozy with an outdoor approved pet heating pad! I'm not sure how they'd do exposed to direct rain/weather, but my first one was out in Pacific Northwest winter on the covered porch & still looks new.

Le bois est assez épais et de qualité, le toit peut s'ouvrir et rester ouvert grave à une charnière, ce qui est très pratique si on veut attraper les lapins, ou bien ramasser les oeufs de poules par exemple.
