Pretty easy assembly. My nine year old did most of it with me putting in the screws (a little hard to turn). Easy to clean, especially with a shop vac to do most of the work. My only complaint, and my friend who bought the same hutch had this problem as well, is that the bunnies chew the heck out of it. The ramp is all chewed up as is the sides of the interior. I might try using some bitter apple spray to deter them.

I’ve had this for over a month now and so far it works pretty well and I’m pretty happy with it. I had issues at first because the bottom “drawer” did not fit correctly and being the base of the whole cage this was an issue. However I was able to rig it with a block underneath so that it stays up. Kind of a pain but easily was able to make it work. I saw other reviews mention that pee leaked out of the cage, and I had this issue to at first as well. But I set up my rabbits litter area differently and it hasn’t been an issue. I recommend laying down a pee pad and getting a litter box with a high wall (see picture). Haven’t had any leaks since I started setting it up this way. As far as my rabbit chewing the wood, she definitely does but not horribly and only in a of couple places. She easily gets bored with “chew toys” and seems to have recently lost interest in chewing it all together. I’m sure this could vary depending on your rabbit, but in my experience her chewing on it isn’t much of an issue. Overall not a bad product and works well for what I need after a few moderations.

This product took about an hour to put together. It’s well constructed, and while some reviewers had issues with chips I had no such problem. The bottom insert did not fit as needed, but with an extra chunk of wood (wooden dowels are pretty cheap) it was fixed in five minutes. My BIGGEST problem was the lack of tools and the holes were not easy to manually screw the parts into. Went much quicker with my handy electric drill! I would buy it again, and my bunny Oolong loves his new home! My bunny does have issues with the ramp, as it’s pretty smooth wood and not a lot of traction, but that’s easily fixed. Impressed considering the mixed reviews. As long as your handy this shouldn’t be a problem to put together

I like that it was not difficult to put together. My husband did help me. Easy to clean. I rescued my bunny who was loose in the country so he is bigger than most. He fits really well. I put a small carpet upstairs he likes it. Buy a small cat box with his hay, I put newspaper under that and only have to clean out flooring once a week. We left screws off larger area so I can easily get in to pull out cat box then we used a bunny cord to secure. My husband is making me a latch to lift. They should maybe do this for easier entry. Since it’s winter at night I cover Buggies up! In summer will hook up the circle pin to his entry to come out to play & we do that now for excercise in the house! I really like the cage, would recommend it, I set up a shelf next to it with all his needs & bought a new garbage can to easily dump his box & change out his Timothy Hay daily. Excited that this cage helped me with caring for him much easier. 💕

The hutch is so cute and seems sturdy enough for the price! I put it together myself and I’m a fairly small woman, no man power needed. Just a screwdriver! I had seen some complaints about chipped wood but mine didn’t have any and the trays fit snug but slide out fairly easy! My baby can’t reach the top yet because it is a fairly steep ramp but I’m sure when she gets older (she’s a New Zealand white).

Iam happy with the purchase but a few things that I feel it should have, or be changed. The top part of the wired cage, would be nice if that could open up, would be easier to pull larger things in and out and to clean. The door that opens should be wider, hard to even get a dust pan in there or to clean. The ramp should be more sturdy.
Also the bottom tray keeps falling down. Could be a factory defect or a bad batch cause I've read other reviews where they've had problems with the trays.
Other than that the cage it's self is sturdy easy to put together, and adorable to be used for indoor use.

Bunnies
Set up was decent I love power drills so thats what I use it held up under the stress!! We use our hutch for bunnies. It is easy to clean.

I searched for a few months before finally deciding on this particular one. I have a 3 month old Holland lop who now has ample room to stretch and hide and play.
It suggests two people to assemble but I was able to do so alone within a good 45-hour.
The directions are very very minimal and need to be read and then read again. Pictures are helpful but hard to interpret.
Other reviews have stated that sometimes parts don't line up and I've also had that issue with the top cage that is screwed in.
The trays were quite fickle to put in and didn't line up easily. I don't know how long they'd last with constant removal.
Overall, I would definitely 100% buy this again. It's worth the money and works out perfect. The caster wheels are an added plus.

Great piece and value!
Very nice cage. Has the look of actual furniture so as to not disrupt your decorative eye. Bunny seems to enjoy his new home too!

It looks great and was okay instructions but they could have been better, the trays were not the easiest to get in but a little push they go right in also some of the panels were missing there pilot holes but still soft enough wood to just push with the screw drive and get it started. The hinges for the lid was really difficult to figure out where to put them since there was no pilot holes. Over all the paint was in good shape except some minor scratches but would definitely recommend this product
