Description
Introducing the COZIWOW artificial grass rug, a convenient solution for pet owners living in apartments who want to train their dogs to pee indoors. This synthetic grass mat features a realistic appearance, making it easy for puppies to use without extensive training. The innovative design allows liquid to seep through the mat, preventing it from accumulating and causing unpleasant odors and wet paws. The bottom grid tray, equipped with ridges, efficiently captures and directs the liquid into the collecting box through a drainage hole, with a total capacity of 2000ml. Both the artificial grass turf and the collecting box can be effortlessly removed for easy cleanup by simply rinsing them with water. This versatile rug is suitable for use in apartments, dormitories, patios, and balconies, providing a convenient and hygienic solution for indoor pet training.
This is a great product for our lifestyle. Apartment living with older kids, who aren’t always consistent with taking the puppy outside.
I’m really please we tried this!
Put a 23 x 23 potty pad under the grass.
Clean it daily, takes less than 10 mins.
Use a stainless steel sink because I use white vinegar and it will stain other surfaces.
Put the pad in the sink and give both sides a quick rinse.
Stopper in the sink, pour in about 1/2 cup white vinegar while filling with hot water.
Only fill with enough water/vinegar to flow through the grass. Less water is best, less diluted.
Turn the pad over a few times to completely soak both sides.
I run my hand through the grass to swish the water/vinegar around.
Drain and give it a quick rinse.
I only have the pad in the water/vinegar for about 2 mins and that's it.
Put it outside to dry (or) on a piece of cardboard on towel inside to dry. Grass side up.
If you don't have a stainless steel sink the next best thing.
Rinse it outside with your hose.
Use a spray bottle with 50/50 vinegar and spray both sides. Let sit about 10 mins.
Then rinse again.
I say 10 mins only because it's not submerged in water/vinegar, but I'm just guessing.
I am going to get another one for my car. Then I can use it on trips n at other people’s houses
We placed a puppy pad at the bottom. Did take her a little while to get used to it because she just wanted to play with it. But, she now goes on it no problem.
The artificial grass is just cheap artificial grass but the cat loves pawing at it and the dog likes laying on it so it can't be that bad.
✅ Me gusta
Tips: Also potty training tip if your dog has a accident place the mat near where the accident occurred so they go their since they have claimed that as their potty spot. Be sure to keep them in a smaller enclosed space when leaving them with the Mat and do not place the food or water near the mat. dogs don’t like to go bathroom where they eat or drink.
Then I went on Amazon and bought the same brand, but larger (and def different quality) for cheaper (only $19.) I like the turf of the first one better because it's nicer quality. However, the plastic divider from this one on amazon is WAY easier to clean. The drying time is very minimum.
I'd say for the price I'd recommend this one off of amazon since you are buying something for your dog to literally shit on. Not to mention it's a decent size larger and half the price! Just thought if any of you tried to buy in-store first you'd like to know the comparisons. This has been a lifesaver through the potty training process.
Our dog was scared of this new object first but after a few sniffs went potty right away. I am so happy with this purchase - our little Luna loves grass and loves having a little patch of it in the house. The grass is very soft but sturdy, so it doesn't pull or fall out easily. We were tired of torn and chewed-on puppy pads every time we'd come home after being away for even less than an hour, so we decided to buy this. I highly recommend this product! You will not regret buying it!
Here is a picture of our happy mischievous bundle of joy enjoying her grass patch.
We have moved to a house and she has a backyard but still uses pads periodically. No matter which pad I've tried they always leak onto the floors, especially if she pees on the corner. To make matters worse, we got a cat who likes to attack the pads rendering them useless.
For these reasons I have FINALLY decided to look for a better indoor solution for my lady. I liked this right away because of the look and design. I don't like the idea of dumping urine out so I bought it with the intention of keeping a pad in the bottom part to absorb urine.
Pros-
+My dog used it right away.
+My dog likes to pee on carpets (I suspect she likes the feel 🙄)... relevant because she seems to like this soft surface.
+If the pad becomes saturated pee doesn't leak to floor.
+It works as intended.
+The cat can't destroy it.
+it looks way nicer then a pad.
Cons -
-Cleanup could be easier if there was some sort of handle on the grass part and inner plastic so you don't have to touch it so much when you are cleaning it.
-pads don't meet the exact dimensions of the base.
