I have two five month old kittens, and they love this tree! They sleep on it all the time and love to scratch at the scratch post and ramp. It came in the mail quickly and was relatively easy to assemble. You can remove the cat bed to wash, which is nice.

My 14 lb tortie loves this tower! Her favorite spot is the top bed but she lays in the tunnels as well. However she did bite the string off with the ball but she does that on all of her towers. It was relatively easy to put together, took me about 20-25 minutes! It is super soft and sturdy!

When I ordered this cat tree, it got damaged in transit. So I had to wait a little bit longer to receive the item because they replaced it before it came to me.
Once it got here, it was really easy to put together. And I love it. It matches a smaller one that I have in my office. My cat really likes it and he is a bigger cat. He is 17 pounds and fits on it just fine. I attached two pictures, one of Archie on the top and the other of just the tree. Both my cats will have somewhere to watch the squirrels.
As far as stable, it seems pretty stable to me.
