It checked all the boxes... suitable for outdoors, spacious, easy clean up pan, and a run for some extra space.
It came in a day earlier than expected. Packaging was nice and organized. Everything was in good shape and the materials are good (not super solid wood, but good enough). I was intimated at first looking at the instructions since there were no words to describe the set up, but once I got going, it really wasn't that bad. Easier than IKEA furniture! I like that the roof is a good durable, solid material. It's also very cute!
It would have received 5 stars if it didn't have this awful smell. A couple days later of airing it out it's fine, but made me nauseous while setting up. I would also prefer another pan on the bottom rather than the wire. I'm nervous with how rough the ramp is and with the wire my babies could get sore hocks. I'll add some extra pine shavings to the bottom, hopefully that helps!
I really encourage new/future rabbit owners to use this as a bed time only hutch. They really should be roaming around in a safe, spacious area during the day.
