    I like that this perch installation was easy and didn’t involve drilling into the wall. Overall, it’s good and gets some use. My only complaint is that I wish the perch padding had some kind of support around the edge. Our younger cat sleeps on it (pictured) but our older cat won’t. I think he’s afraid of falling off.

    I have nothing bad to say about this product, it was easy to assemble and put on my window. You can install it with or without screws to attach to your window. I personally decided to use screws because both my cats lay on it at times and I wanted to make sure it would hold. (My cats are both 10 pounds for reference) I hope this review helps.

I was trying to avoid making holes in the window sill, so tried the Velcro/adhesive option and it’s not as stable as mounting would be, but working just fine! Really like this product and kitty loves it.

    I have thought and told other people so many times that this was one of the best purchases ever for my cat. He has spend endless hours on it so far and it's one of his favorite places. He walks over to it, so I don't know how safe it would be for jumping on it, but he jumps down from there and that has never been a problem. I had to remove it twice and it was fine to take it off and put it back on later (the velcro remained in place and still worked afterwards). I would definitely recommend it.

    Once I got my cat to get used to the "floating" rest spot (her issues, not the product", she loves it. I added her bed on top and she just lies in it for hours staring out the window. Kind of confusing at first how it is all put together and had to do a 2 man team, but that could have been me and not the instructions. Have had it for over 2 months and no issues. Was worried when my cat would jump onto it but she's about 8 pounds and there is no problem. Cushions come with it for the walls under it so it won't scrape the wall. Good product.

    Just go ahead and plan on using the screws. My pup is 8.5lbs. If she never moved, the Velcro would be fine. The issue comes in when she jumps up and down and turns in circles to get comfortable. I added three times as much Velcro than what came with the item and I still didn’t have faith in it. I should have just saved myself all that time of messing with the velcro and went straight for the screws. Now, I feel like it would come close to holding me. It’s super solid now.

    Super easy to install. Super sturdy. Looks nice. Looks much nicer than my sad homemade window seats. I have several cats and originally only ordered 2 seats. I had to order a 3rd, they were fight over windows. God forbid there not be a seat at every window in the house! People complain that I’m a crazy cat lady and I can’t have so many cats. I don’t need those people in my life. The cats bring me joy and love and if I hadn’t taken them in they would be outside in this cold. I sure am going to spoil them! Next on my to do list is to build them a huge catio!

    So far, there is nothing to dislike about this cat perch. One thing I was happy to discover is that the metal support bars have rubber pieces where they contact the wall. So, there are no worries about scratched walls. The velcro seems strong. My cat is only 10 lbs. But I can see it holding up to a 20 lb cat. So there was no need for me to place screws through my window sill. The velcro was enough. And of course, my cat Abigail is very pleased with the perch. That is the most important part.
