Fast shipping, good quality, took a few hours to build it with 2 people. BUT we were missing screws. Quite a few of them.

I have not attached it to the house yet. Assembly was not difficult. Did have to have 2 people to work on it at times. But I do think that my cat will love it once she can go in and out of the house. I do feel some ideas on how to attach it to the house and open it up to the window would be helpful.

It's a really cute cat house. Easy to assemble if you have someone to help hold things in place while you put screws in. My grandson helped me. My only complaint is that it has an escape in the event something is an intruder, but the escape hole on top is either above the entrance or right in front of the top opening. I'm going to have to rework the openings.

My cat loves it! It does take two people and a screw gun to put together. We had to modify a little bit but definitely worth every penny and effort it took to put it together. We bought a cat door for a window and attached our ��cat walk�� enclosure that she has been using for years years!!!

I'm really impressed! This thing is made of solid wood and is sturdy! Assembly was easy with a power tool. Instructions were clear and with illustrations. I expected to receive it Wednesday and I received in Saturday, one day after ordering it. Miss Luna is a big girl and there is plenty of space for her in the larger one that I purchased. I'm confident I will get years of use from this. I was impressed that I did not have one issue with assembly or hardware.

What a great catio! It is HUGE. Yes, it is a pain in the butt to assemble if you are alone. It really is a two person job but it can be done. I suggest having a drill.handy as doing each screw by hand is agonizingly slow. My cats are loving their new improved space and I love that they can be outside but still safe. The only change I made to the original design was the addition of a hasp lock so I can secure it completely and padlock it shut and the addition of faux grass turf on the platforms and floor to help keep it clean. A+ for the price and shipping was.crazy fast!

I actually bought this cage for an aviary for zebra finches and it's perfect. Fairly easy to assemble too.

I like this cat enclosure but some of the screws that came with it were not long enough for the intended area. I had to go back with longer screws to secure the small boxes because they became loose after 1 well of use.

This product is very nice and is easy to put together. You do need a power screwdriver. My husband put it together in a few hours by himself. I am not using it for cats, but it would be satisfactory for sure!

Absolutely love it. Sturdy once all out together. I love the fact I can move around shelves and the cubbies. Two cats could fit comfortably and I was able to put my automatic litter box. Good for indoor or outdoor. My cat doesn't get along with my other cat so this was the best solution to separate and it's awesome

Feral cat left me with three of her offspring. Kid fell in love now they live here. They needed a place to get out of the weather and this is perfect. Cats approve and use it regularly. Assembly was pretty easy-took two people 1 hour. Did use a hand drill and sured up the joints with wood glue. Don't have to use the glue but I found it really adds to the stability. For the price, I am very happy with it.

Assembled it by myself in just an hour and a half using clamps and a power screwdriver. Seems sturdy. It will do nicely for keeping the kittens contained into adulthood when the catio will be moved outside for them to enjoy.

Perfect addition for my pigeons. They love it. Make sure you water proof all the pieces before you assemble. Use Thompson's water seal.

Nice for the price. It's not the easiest to assemble. But I did it solo without power tools. Took a good bit of the day. But was fun. Missing many screws but I just bought more to complete the roof.

The build and material quality are excellent. The pieces were beautifully packed and labeled with stickers. The hardware was individually packed with the number to which they corresponded. Some of the holes are not predrilled and that is expected. You must have a battery screwdriver and drive some screws into the wood. I laid out all the pieces and my husband and I took about an hour together. The directions are good, but need to be more clear about which side is outside vs inside. That would be for folks who are not used to putting things together. I kept the styrofoam packaging and used it as insulation inside the house. We have had pouring rain here in western MD and it stayed dry. I am thrilled with this house. I had lowered expectations because of how cheap some things are made. This house is not. For receipts I attached photos. Get it for your kitties, raccoons, possums, squirrels - whatever you have going. You will love it. I am not paid for this review. I am just stunned how nice it is.

I bought this to allow cats to have outdoor time while we had a hawk problem. It suited the purpose. The only problem we have encountered is that one of the cats went through the roof when he jumped down from roof. We put plywood on the roof to guard against that. Overall sturdy and easy-ish to put together with two people.

Bought it to have an area for my oriental shorthair to have her kittens. Super fast delivery, great product, basic tools to assemble, a drill helped. Very sturdy and not tippy at all! They even called to see how the box arrived!

I was surprised by the quality of this Catio! Put it together in less than two hours. All the parts were accounted for. I did not build the boxes as this will be for birds (not cats) so used extra pieces to build appropriate accessories. I'd buy it again!!

I was a little nervous given there were 0 reviews but decided to give it a try since it looked better than most of the other options and had a great price. Assembly; Everything was clearly labeled including the hardware in their own marked baggies. You'll need a drill and a screwdriver (I didnt see a tools list on the instructions). Places where you connect two pieces only have guideholes in one of the two so you probably dont want to muscle every screw. I was able to put it together in about 75 minutes by myself. The hardest parts were making sure pieces were aligned when screwing them together. I would recommend assembling it outdoors if weather permits as it is just an inch or so shy of a standard doorway when assembled. Also the balcony roof needs the outer opaque plastic removed, the instructions dont say to do this but I couldnt believe I was supposed to leave this printed plastic over the top so I took a chance and grabbed a knife to cut it off. Turned out to be the correct move. Quality; One of the reasons I got it was that it lists as insulated, and I live where the cold is. It is indeed insulated, but not excessively so. Thin foam panels line the inner walls. I'm sure its warmer than without them. And there are no wide open seams, everything tightens together nicely when assembling. Aside from that it is all wood with a matte finish paint job. The part of the roof that opens on a hinge is covered in a large asphalt shingle to protect from the weather. Its very sturdy and isnt going to get knocked around or torn apart by neighborhood animals I wouldn't think. The only thing that remains to be seen is how well the wood panels hold up to snow and rain over the years. Impossible to tell if they are properly treated to avoid rot. Other thoughts; On the inside it is just wooden flooring so you'll want to put in blankets or beds for cats to lay on. The bottom floor is not easily accessible after assembly, so get anything you want in there as you go. Your only option is to put your arm through the cat door and feel your way about.

My cat loves this catio! It took half a day for my husband and I to set it up. We did have to use a drill as the screws were impossible by hand. We removed the boxes as my cats didn't fit and just kept them as shelves. It was very hard for my cats to jump from the ground to the upper shelves because of the angles so I put a cat tree and they can get to them from there. Mine is not attached to a window, I just carry my cat out there. Decent quality, a bit flimsy but it's good value for the price.

I would recommend this product as an intermittent solution for someone wanting a catio now but, for any number of reasons, not wanting a long term investment. It took me and another person 6 hours to build (mostly due to having to make a hardware store trip for a missing part) and we attached it to our deck with L brackets and added turf to the boxes and flooring. Additionally, I recommend switching up the order of the shelves when you assemble it to help with the cats ability to access different heights. Overall, I paid nearly $200 (which is a great price for this product) and got just about what I paid for. I also recommend buyers purchase mosquito netting/window screen netting and affixing it to the catio exterior to prevent your animals from being bitten bugs or stung by bees. (See attached picture for what we did) In our case, we made this accessible to our cats via a window, so the netting helps to ensure that bugs don't get in the house. You may also want to consider some form of additional cross support as the structure is not very well supported. Still, I feel very comfortable that my cats are safe and the structure is not going anywhere with the L brackets keeping it fixed to my deck. Other things to note: Some pieces where missing pilot holes - so don't be afraid to drill into the wood to make it work how you need it to. Lastly, we will not be keeping it out through the winter - we will definitely move it into the garage. I can say pretty confidently it would only last for one year if we left it out. We want this to last about two if we can.

We are long term house sitting and the home owner is allergic to cats so we had to find a way to keep ours from roaming the house. This fit perfectly in one of the bedrooms and our cat loves it! When we move again we’ll put this outside so our cat can enjoy the outdoors too!

You will need a basic knowledge of tools/assembly to put this together. It took two people about 3 hours from start to finish to assemble it. The structure is sound and we trust it to not only keep the cats safely enclosed, but also to keep other animals out. Our three cats use it on a daily basis and we are very happy with the purchase.

Ease of putting together

2 things: 2 people make this easier, and find your missing 10mm wrench because you'll need it toward the end. I think it was supposed to come with one, but ours was missing. Also, if you have even a mild allergy to cedar, you will be overwhelmed by the smell when you open the box. It's STRONG.<br><br>Assembly was easy enough, well labeled and my husband and I didn't fight when we (mostly me) assembled it in just under 3 hours. Our toddler "helped" and the orange cat that wants to be outside screamed at us from the window the entire time.<br><br>If you want to use this in conjuction with a window, make sure you remove the wire from the piece in the middle on the back, but keep the frame as it is structurally necessary.

It's exactly what I'd expect. It's quite nice. The cats enjoy it. I do wish it were more sturdy. Ours is currently inside (long story) so I can't speak to weather resistance.

I felt the diagrams accompanying the directions were a bit confusing, but we got the job done! We just completed the project yesterday. I don't feel I can adequately evaluate as to whether or not it's weatherproof.

Bought this for an I door corner enclosure for one if my cats who doesn't play well with others. It's big enough for the cat but not massive enough to take up a bunch of space. Pretty easy to put together. I carpeted the little box house inside and it's cute!

Its taking my cats sometime to acclimate to it but it fits well in our back porch. The wood is barely sturdy enough to hold itself together. But so far so good. It was fsily easy to put together.

Perfect for my cats use

This catio was exactly what my cats needed. It was relatively easy to put together - but it did require two people and took several hours. It is easy to move around with two people so I can change the cat’s location to keep them happy. The cats would prefer to roam freely, but they have accepted that the catio is their only choice for outdoor time. They love it and they are much happier with the chance to watch the outdoor action up close.
