My cats really like the cat tree. It is tall and more narrow than I expected, but it still holds my heavy cats well. It was easy to assemble and the color and quality look good so far. I am hopeful that my cat won't scratche through it like they did the last one I had (it was another brand).

Decent for the price and size. Plush peels easily with claws, stability strap is nice.

This tower was simple to put together with easy to follow instructions. Save yourself some time and set your screws up by page order to avoid confusion. I have 4 cats, one is a big boy and they all fit. So far so good with all 4 climbing around at the same time. I will say, the plush covering isn't very good quality, day 2 had one post peeling from clawing. It's expected that claws will do damage though so not a huge deal. A good feature is the strap on the back that allows you to nail/drill to the wall for stability and support which I suggest for your cat's safety. Not a bad purchase and the cats are happy with it. I got the light gray and the color is pretty light like the photo.

I think the size is fine. There are a couple of spots that a bigger cat might really struggle fitting comfortably on (see the circular perches near the top of product) but I think there are other spots that a bigger cat would be fine on—though keep in mind both my cats are medium sized.
I assembled it by myself. The most difficult part is when the screws need to go on the bottom of one of the square or rectangle pieces, but after struggling to align things are started using a pen as a guide and suddenly made the process much easier. But otherwise I was surprised how easily I did the assembly. It’s tedious, so good music or a background movie is my recommendation.

This tree was not stable enough for my 6 month old 7 pound cat. He did not use it very much and the tree tended to jostle and sway when he jumped on it, even if it did not fall over. He did play with the attached ball-on-a-string toy.

However, my 3 month old 3 pound kittens loved it. They were light enough to easily climb and balance on the tree, and have no problem reaching the topmost platforms. They like and often sleep in the upper house, or on the top three platforms. One of them once vomited/had diarrhea on the platforms, but dried stains like these are easy to remove from the cloth surface with a dampened paper towel.

Also, none of my cats have ever used the attached scratching posts nor were the attracted to do so over the couch. Do not buy solely for those attachments.

Note: If you are putting this together, the 'cat house' boxes that appear in the instructions are actually just the cloth sleeves pulled over the box-shaped frame. There are no boxes that come with the tree itself.
