I needed to buy a cat tower tall enough for my cat to look outside the window. This cat tower was perfect for that. Initially I didnt think he would fit inside the circular part of the tower, but he loves it and curls up in it to sleep all the time. It's extremely sturdy, I even sat on a part of it before and I'm 190 pounds. I wouldn't recommend putting your full weight on it, or sitting on it for a long time, but yes it can support my weight. The tower has a wide base and doesn't wobble at all. Just make sure everything is tight and you should be good to go.

Only thing that disappointed me is that my cat does not use the legs of the tower as a scratching post.

My cat might be about 9 lbs. She fits in the top circle almost perfect but it's tight. The construction is great and it was very easy to assemble. The steps don't stick out enough for her to climb it or get down properly though, so she jumps up to the circle from the floor and to get down she just jumps off. I can't seem to train her on how to climb it. She hasn't used the scratching posts but I can't seem to get her to use ANY kind of scratching post. My cat is a little odd so I don't know how other cats would work with this. For my small apartment it is a good fit. She LOVES sleeping in the top circle. If I could make changes I would make a larger cat version where the platforms are wider so she can climb easier and make the circle larger. I'm sure there is a larger version though and I bought this one because it would take up less space and knew my cat might not fit in the circle due to its dimensions. But if you have a larger cat she may just fit in it! Really awesome purchase!!!

This cat tree is pretty great. Can loves it and attacks the scratch post with vigor. This is pretty much all that matters.

One suggestion, make a version with a little bit larger top bowel. My cat barley fits. Hes is not huge but just a slight bit too large for this top bowel. He curls up tight and sleeps in it though so it works.

Only other issue is stability. My crazy kitty jumps on this thing, lands on the side half way up and and it does tip a bit but he has never tipped it all the way over.

Might have to find a large but nice looking rock that will fit into the base and slide it in for a bit more stability so when crazy cat flies across the room, leaps and clings to the side then claws his way to the top, it will not tilt over quite so far.

We were hesitant to purchase this cat tower after reading negative reviews, but it has been three years now and it is still holding up very well. Our 12 lb cat spends 70% of each day sleeping in the top bed. Every few months we need to retighten the post, but otherwise it has held strong. It is sturdy on carpet without being weighed down. It's fallen over once or twice when our other cat (who had never learned how to reach the top bed) attempts to climb the outer ledges like a ladder, but he's not the sharpest tool in the shed. We'll reorder the same tower when this one eventually needs to be replaced.

Easy to put together, only took a few minutes. The cats (2) started scratching before it was even assembled. Most of the scratcher feels very sturdy, the top tier looks a little wobbly under my 11 pound cat. We'll see how it holds up. The triangle piece seems a bit awkward, the cats haven't figured out how to gracefully get to the top perch yet. It also had a strong chemical smell out of the box but has mostly faded by 24 hours. It's decent for the price. I will update the review if there are any issues.

Myself and my cat KoKo are very happy with this cat tree. I needed some place comfortable for her to rest and perch at the window in my workroom. It is the perfect height for perusing outside action and for sleeping away curled up inside the top. She is not a small cat but has no problem curling up into a ball at the top and will keep me company for hours day or night.
Sisal is her scratching favorite and she makes good use of each sisal covered leg.
We have not had any problems with stability, it can handle her running leap onto the top.
A little catnip helped her adjust to this “something new” in her life. One time was all it took for her to adopt this tree.
Follow the instructions and the assembly is easy.
Hope your cat loves it as much as mine.

This cat tree has a number of great features and one small downside.

The materials are awesome. It has real carpet, not the "fuzzy fabric" that is so easy for cats to claw to shreds. The rope is tightly wound and feels durable. The support posts are fully wrapped with rope, unlike other cat trees that have "fuzzy fabric" on the tops and bottoms of the posts, and just the middle portion has rope.

It's easy to assemble if you read the instructions through first (not just glance at them, ha!).

The downside is that the top tier--the "kitty bucket"-- is placed off-center of the shelf below it, so It looks a bit off-kilter, and feels a little less stable to me. We placed the cat tree against one wall to sort of brace it, and kitty is using it with no problem.

Quick Delivery and easy assembly. I will admit I was disappointed at first as this was smaller than the one we were replacing it with and it looked so weak and frail. We have 2 cats with one being about 7 pounds and the other a beast at 17 pounds! I knew for sure the larger cat would topple this over the first time he tried to climb it. HOWEVER, it held up and is way more sturdy than it looks! My smaller cat was never really interested in the previous one we had but loves this one. The 'beast' is totally happy and can climb away with no tip overs. It wobbles just a slight bit but holds up perfectly! I would highly recommend, doesn't take up a lot of room and totally works!

I was surprised I got it together as easily as I did. I can be a dingbat. It's very stable and sturdy. I like that the screwholes are plastic threaded with metal inside. I think it will stay tight and not get stripped and make the tree wobbly. The only bad thing is the glue smell from the carpet cover. It's been airing out for many days but it is still stinky. I will use my favorite trick to tempt my kitties and cover the tree with all of my dirty clothes to make it smell like MOM.

I've owned many cat trees over the years. This one is my favorite. I've found that most cats don't care for the fancy toys, ladders, or hidey holes that many cat trees have. They want a place to sit up high and posts to scratch. All the posts are covered with high quality sisal, and there is adequate room on all platforms for an average sized adult cat. I was worried because it isn't as tall as other trees, but my cats don't seem to mind. All three of them take turns sleeping in the basket at the top, and I frequently find more than one cat on the tree at a time which used to be a rare occurrence. It's solid, was easy to put together and has a reasonable price. The color is also one of the reasons I like it. It's not cream or gray or dark brown. It's a soothing taupe color. It blends into the background of the room and goes well with any décor. I bought a second one shortly after receiving the first.

We have been a multi-cat home for nearly 50 years now, and this is the first time we've bought a cat tree. I sure wish I had had one or two, years ago. I bought it mainly because we had just adopted a 6 week old kitten and I remembered that they can tend to be kind of wild and crazy at times. Plus, we do not have our cats declawed. Well, in addition to the kitten loving it, the two older cats really seem to like it too! It certainly seems to be getting a workout, on a real regular basis. The price was great too. Much less expensive than the ones in the pet supply stores.

Overall, this was a great price for the what you get. The quality is great. Never had any issues with carpet coming apart or the rope falling off and I've had it for about 8 months now. The one thing that doesn't seem to work for little Emmie is she has issues jumping from the second base to the top of the perch. The second base isn't wide enough for a cat to get enough momentum to jump to the top so she uses our living room chair to do it. If the second base was just a little wider than this would have been perfect. Overall, I'm happy to use it as a second perch in the house though I am searching for a bigger one.

A large play structure for our three kitties. We have a 5 pounder who was rescued from the highway with a broken spine, an 8 pounder who runs us all ragged and a 16 pounder who needs to run more. We found the big boy ensconced in the top cup, king of the mountain. I was so happy to see him up there!! Hubby is an Ivy League PhD, and it took him two tries before he checked the instructions and figured out that you put it together top to bottom. So, lay out all the parts, use the instruction sheet, keep the kitties away from the screws and bolts, and give yourself an hour at least for the job. It's sturdy, stable, attractive enough for the living room. Yeah everyone who knows us knows who runs the house. BTW, the littlest one has healed wonderfully, runs around like crazy. She will probably be the long term king of the mountain on this.
