Keeps the dog out nicely
Also a couple months after I purchased this one of the screws fell out of the magnetic piece and was lost (probably due to my little dog jumping up trying to bug our cat lol) but I contacted the company and they got back to me immediately and offered to send me a replacement kit free of charge! Awesome customer service great company to deal with! Thank you!!! ?
Great overall...
The ONLY critique I have, is wishing there was something more solid to latch it to avoid it popping open on accident. I did a makeshift latch out of velcro and that's worked well, but that's been a concern of mine is it accidentally opening and then the dogs having access.
Unit looks nice, is of decent quality and in perfect condition. My kitten who is a still a little small to climb in the opening needs a little step to get up inside and out of the bottom, but we solve by tying old blankets to the pawprints for her to climb. She used right away. Keeps the dogs out of the litter box and has completely contained the litter tracking into the rest of the house.
Only thing to mention is that you really should measure. It's a bit bigger than I anticipated--but that was my own fault for not actually reading the measurements. I moved a few things around and we're good, but if your space is tight, you'll want to make sure you plan.
